Road 45 - The Road of Folly

Road 45 is planned to connect the Ben-Shemen interchange, Modi'in city, north of Jerusalem and the Jordan valley.
A long list of evils justifies the title - "The road of folly". This road will destroy the beautiful forest of Ben-Shemen and Modi'in area, the historic site of ancient Modi'in - the homeland of the Maccabean, the beautiful landscape of Modi'in river and all this at the cost of over 1 BILLION NIS.
A major portion of this road is planned to cross areas which are still under negotiation with the Palestinian authority.
The existing road 443 provides a satisfactory solution in a parallel route, and can be widned, if and when neccesity will arise.
Join our fight to stop road 45. If we fail to do so, the damage will be irreversible
